The oil effect is created with black lava paint in multiple layers. Ice is white pumice sand, melted, and clear portions are acrylic.
The base is made of hand forged steel branches, cast iron leaves, and a welded disc base plate for wet stone effect. It is meant to represent an over-harvested petrified forest.
